Terms of Use

1. Acceptance
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and [developer / company legal name] ("RawBeauty," "we," "us," or "our") governing your use of the RawBeauty iOS app and this website (together, the "Services"). By downloading, installing, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information, including photos you choose to process in the cloud, and forms part of these Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the Services. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Services only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian.
3. License
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use RawBeauty on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, and subject to these Terms. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by us.
4. Your Content
You retain all rights to the photos and videos you import, edit, or create with RawBeauty ("Your Content"). We do not claim ownership of Your Content.
When you use a cloud-based feature, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to upload, store temporarily, process, and return Your Content solely to provide the feature you requested. This license ends when the uploaded content is deleted from our servers as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not use Your Content to train AI models without your separate and explicit consent.
You are responsible for Your Content and for ensuring that you have all rights and permissions needed to import, edit, and share it, including the consent of any person who appears in a photo you edit.
5. Cloud Processing and AI Features
Some features, such as AI Retouch, relighting, bokeh, and AI filters, process your selected photo on our servers. These features require an internet connection and may be unavailable, delayed, or changed at any time.
Results produced by AI features are generated automatically and may vary. They may not always be accurate, flattering, or suitable for your purpose. You are responsible for reviewing results before saving or sharing them.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Services to:
- create, edit, or share content that is unlawful, harmful, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or that infringes the intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights of others;
- edit photos of other people without their permission, or create content intended to deceive others about a real person's identity, appearance, or actions, including impersonation or misleading manipulated media;
- create or edit any content that sexualizes or exploits minors;
- upload content containing malware or attempt to interfere with, overload, or gain unauthorized access to our servers or systems;
- reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app or its models, except where this restriction is prohibited by law;
- resell, sublicense, or redistribute the app, its components, or access to the Services;
- manipulate trials, coin rewards, or ads, or use bots, scripts, or other automated means to obtain rewards or access features.
We may suspend or restrict your access to the Services if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.
7. Subscriptions and Purchases
- Payment: Subscriptions and coin purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- Automatic renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the price and for the period shown in the app unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Managing and canceling: You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings. Canceling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the current paid period.
- Free trials: If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of the trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- Refunds: Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. We cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases directly.
- Restoring purchases: You can restore eligible purchases on your devices using the Restore option in the app.
8. Coins and Rewarded Ads
RawBeauty may offer virtual coins that you can purchase or earn, for example by watching optional rewarded ads. Coins can be used only within the app to access certain features. Coins have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be transferred or sold.
Coins are stored on your device. Because we do not use accounts, coins may be lost if you delete the app or change devices, except for purchases that can be restored through the App Store. We may change the features available for coins, and rewards are granted only when an ad is fully completed as shown in the app.
Rewarded ads are provided by third parties and are optional. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or for any products or services they promote.
9. Intellectual Property
The app, website, models, filters, designs, logos, and all other materials we provide, excluding Your Content, are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our name or logo without our prior written permission.
10. Third-Party Services
The Services rely on third-party services, such as Apple, Google AdMob, Alibaba Cloud, and Umeng+. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any result will meet your expectations.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, photos, profits, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Services in the 12 months before the claim arose. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived under applicable law.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or end your access to the Services, or discontinue any feature, at any time, including if you violate these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including Sections 4, 9, 11, 12, and 15, will survive.
14. Apple-Specific Terms
These Terms are between you and us only, not Apple Inc. ("Apple"). We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the app and its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the app, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, consumer protection or privacy claims, or intellectual property infringement claims. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services will be resolved in the courts of [jurisdiction], unless applicable consumer protection law gives you the right to bring a claim in your place of residence.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app or by other appropriate means. The updated Terms take effect on the date shown above, and your continued use of the Services after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
